Tales on the web for parents to read

For a list of books that Kindergarteners love I like to see Mrs. Bielawski's list.

For fun!
I like the story contrasting the city mouse with the country mouse. You can hear the story here and read along too!

I have written a mouse poem for you!

Little Mouse

By J. Bolton

Little mouse so small and gray

You are definitely in my way!

I see you scamper across the floors

I’d rather see you out of doors.

Please go away, or my friend the cat,

Will come and see where you are at!

My cat will eat her small bowl lunch,

But mouse, she’d rather you to munch!

So go mouse go! Just run on out!

Quick, quick, quick, quick the cat’s about!

Web Links about a mouse

Here are some links that you and your family can enjoy tomorrow when bedtime stories are over!

  • Make a mouse at home with an empty kitchen roll.
  • My son had a pet rat when he was eleven. There is a pet care page for kids.
  • Get some computer mouse practice - dress a paper doll.
  • Go to Disney's fun site here. See Mickey Mouse here.
